What course of action Trump will take if he loses?

The question nagging people’s minds for quite a long time now has been whether President Donald Trump will accept the November 3 election result if the victory is not his. The reason for such a speculation is the past statements by Trump and his refusal to respect the election outcome if it favors his opponent.

There are many probabilities, including those with zero and greatest, as to how Trump will react in the face of a defeat.

Probabilities

Trump accepts the election result by congratulating the winner, former vice president Joe Biden, and wishes him success with a promise that he’ll see the transfer of power is carried out smoothly. ZERO PROBABILITY. Trump is not the person to accept defeat gracefully; it’s not in his DNA.

Trump’s family members try to pursue him to accept the result; they succeed. ZERO PROBABILITY. (Three adult children and their step-mother of the Trumpiano family are as criminal minded as the Godfather himself; they would not even think of doing so.)

Trump’s advisors, cabinet members, and staff members urge their boss to relinquish the power. ZERO PROBABILITY. Most of the people working with Trump are thugs and criminals. They know well that if Trump loses, their next stop upon leaving Trumpland would be behind the bars.

The steroids and drugs given to Trump after he contracted COVID-19 must not be without side effects. If there is adverse reaction, it could impact his health. LITTLE PROBABILITY. (In that case, he would ask his doctors to give him more drugs and steroids to keep him going.)

Trump and his family realizes the reality and it dawns on them that the game is over because of the overwhelming opposition from the majority of the people. Trump announces that Biden is the next president of the United States – but not before pardoning himself and his family members. BIG PROBABILITY.

Trump may claim the election result is rigged and the establishment has, as usual, showed its contempt for the popular president by snatching his victory. There has never been any president in the US who has suffered so much and who has faced this much harassment as me. I was working for the betterment of the people but the corrupt Democrats don’t want me to work for you. But remember, I am not going to give up the mission we’ve started; if that means I have to risk my life then so be it. I want to fulfill the dream of Making America Great Again. I want my supporters to help me in my mission to take over the country from these radical socialists who wants to destroy our great beautiful country. GREATEST PROBABILITY. This could also provoke a civil war.

The above probability is the one which is true to Trump’s nature. Hitherto, Trump has gotten away with all the crimes he has committed in White House and prior to that as a private businessperson. He has never faced any consequences for his criminal activities; instead he had threatened the parties he had wronged. Just one example: Trump borrowed hundreds of millions of dollars from two financial institutions. He didn’t pay when the amount was due, instead he sued for “predatory lending practices” and demanded $3 billion in damages against Deutsche Bank. $287 million were forgiven. It is not Trump’s genius that is at work here, it is just that the system is set up in a manner which lets the extreme wealthy get away with great robberies.

But there is another GREATEST PROBABILITY too and that is from the Democratic side. The initial reaction from Biden, Barack Obama, other leaders, the print/electronic/social media would be noises about cheating, anger, frustration, threats of legal actions, and so on. Of course, many of the Biden supporters will be out on the streets protesting which could result in clashes with Trump supporters. Biden supporters, even if some of them were armed, would be no match against the well armed white supremacist supporters of Trump who have 8 trillion bullets, according to racist Steve King.

For a while, the Democratic leaders will try to calm their backers with promises of not letting Trump get away with stealing the election. A little later, they’ll gradually begin imploring them to stop protests and clashes in the interest of “our great country” and its unity. The greatest loss for the Democratic leaders would be the presidency. Trump’s outright cruelty, inhumane policies, and cutting of welfare programs will affect the common people.

But then we who’re imagining the worst scenarios may be totally wrong. The opposite happens: the probabilities with greatest chances do not materialize and instead the ones with zero chances come true.

Let’s hope things turn out that way.
