Kenyan Actress Nana Gichuru dies in a car crash

Nana Gichuru had posted a message on her Facebook and Instagram accounts on September 11 (9/11), which many have said amounted to the prediction of her own death.

“Life’s journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting ‘HOLY CRAP!!!! WHAT A RIIIDEE….!! (sic)” she posted on Facebook.

“To lace, red lips and oversized headphones and this amazing ride!”

On Instagram she wrote;

“I would rather be ashes than dust! I would rather that my spark should burn out in a brilliant blaze than it should be stifled by dry-rot. I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom in me in a magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet.”

“The function of man is to live. Not to exist. I shall not waste my days trying to prolong them. I shall use my time.”

Nana Gichuru, who is a popular actress in her home country Kenya, died on Tuesday morning (September 22nd) in a horrific road accident along Nairobi’s Eastern bypass in a head-on collision with a truck (also called ‘lorry’ in Kenya, Africa).
