the cost: tears, sweat, blood, starvation, deaths of people

conquests on earth or extra-earth is always achieved at a heavy cost

nature is not spared either — the environment suffers greatly too

on August 23, 2023, India’s rocket landed on Moon’s South Pole

  • (2,700 builders of the launch pad haven’t received pay for 17 mos)

the rulers of India got the Moon howl from the world

while the common person is left holding an empty bowl

who can’t afford necessary vegetables because of high inflation

who are fighting for basic human rights because of government attacks

Note

what are the immediate benefits of Moon trips for most human beings

  • none

of course, people associated with space programs will say new inventions

but then wheel, ship, phone, computer, etc. are earth-based innovations

some say the Moon-missions could help us understand our solar system

“If you really want to understand the origin of the evolution of the solar system, there is no better place … to go [than] the moon.”

lack of water & atmosphere on Moon has protected evidence of origin

if that is the purpose, why not join hands together

this could be accomplished by all countries through a joint venture

but the real reason is the Moon is very rich in metals

the other reason is territorial conquest of the Moon and beyond

anyway

first task of the governments should be to take care of all their Earthlings
