democracy” remains the best way to rein in the populace

you can thus advertise people’s victory but act tyrannically

for instance:

there is this largest democracy ruled by a communalist hate-monger

the greatest democracy is ruled by the capitalist oligarchy

most countries prefer this useful tool, because …

it lets you have your cake and eat it too

Pureistan inherited the system from her colonial masters and loves it

no matter the percentage of voters, parties, candidates …

the ultimate winner is always the same!

the elections of 2024 were not any different

one party was prohibited from using its electoral symbol

the symbol, a cricket bat, could pose a national security threat

that’s what the party with a symbol of khaki must have thought

what if … the Batters beat the hell out of the Khakis?

each member of the bat-less party had to use a different symbol

over two hundred individual symbols in all …

on election day, the cell phones stopped working & the internet was cut

people voted,

the counting began,

expectations rose …

Batters were leading all others, including the Tigers

then suddenly the relaying of some results stopped …

for hours …

the next morning, Batters lead had shrunk dramatically …

what happened during those hours?

a miraculous void … darkness …

vote shedding …

(Pureistanis are used to load shedding, i.e., electricity cut-off and darkness)

this news darkness was the result of vote shedding

i.e., shrinking the Batters’s lead and enhancing the Tigers …

even then, the Batters had the lead

and following them were the Tigers & the Swords

but the Batters couldn’t form a govt on their own, neither could the Tigers

the Tigers & Swords agreed to form a government

that’s what the Khakis and the ECP wanted

and that’s what they got … success … as usual …

the Batters can still come out on the streets to protest

they have claimed vote rigging and filed numerous cases in the courts

Pureistan is filled with so many un-s: uncertainty, unstability, unfairness, …

what about the Khakis?

Khakis are above politics — they don’t contest elections

they are like Mahatma Gandhi, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, Big Brother

Khakis win without contesting elections or begging people for votes

also …

the Pureistanis are constantly under the watchful eyes of the Khakis
