in math, a minus plus minus equals plus or – + – = +
the applicability of the above formula is restricted to math only
however, politicians use the above formula for personal gain
shrewd & cunning politicians do it more often
US politicians do it domestically/internationally on a regular basis
it goes like this:
1 wrong + another wrong + …. = right, that is, the US is always right
just one example — that of Iran, but first a little background
the US overthrew Iran’s elected government of M. Mossadegh in 1953
the CIA’s internal document “The Battle for Iran“ released in 2013 says:
“The military coup that overthrew [Iran’s Prime Minister Mohammad] Mosaddeq and his National Front cabinet was carried out under CIA direction as an act of U.S. foreign policy, conceived and approved at the highest levels of [President Dwight D. Eisenhower] government.”
then it reinstalled its puppet Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi
Shah’s extremely atrocious rule led to his ouster in 1979
the new rulers were Islamic revolutionaries led by Ayatollah Khomeini
the diplomatic relations between Iran and US was severed
the US never forgot that nor has, till now, forgiven Iran
the US imposed economic and political sanctions on Iran
it has devastating effect on Iran’s economy and people
the roguish US has also sanctioned Cuba, Venezuela, N. Korea, …
it’s totally wrong for the US to harass other countries
anybody doing business with those countries can’t do business with US
Chinese company Huawei was accused of doing business with Iran
Huawei’s CFO Meng Wanzhou was kidnapped at the Vancouver airport
Canada’s Trudeau ordered kidnapping, of course, at the behest of the US
(Canada is one of the many US vassal states around the globe)
China detained 2 Canadians, jailed them, and sentenced one to 11 years
now it seems there will be swap of Wanzhou against the two Canadians
though militarily the US is still powerful, economically it’s behind China
China is playing its cards carefully — without making too much noise
it was simply amazing that China didn’t give in to US roguishness
