AIPAC versus Yahweh

Yahweh

during the Second Temple Judaism (c. 515 BCE – 70 CE)

only a high priest could utter the Jewish God “Yahweh“s’ name

and only once annually on the Day of Atonement

“Yahweh” was too holy a name to be spoken out aloud

so the Jews would say Adonai, meaning “My Lord”

Yahweh was referred to “My Lord” when reading scripture

AIPAC

in the USA (United States Almighty)

such a word is AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee)

AIPAC is an important element of the Israel Lobby

the Lobby’s tentacles are all over the United States

from college campuses, to news media, to Congress

it works to cover up Israeli crimes against Palestinians,

to restrain news media from reporting on Israel’s atrocities,

to buy Congress support for Israel through rewards,

to punish those who oppose Israel’s inhumane actions,

and help to continue free US military/economic aid to Israel

AIPAC is basically a foreign agent, i.e., an Israeli agent

the dominant media, US Congress, US presidents

rarely criticize the AIPAC or shows sympathy for the Palestinians

because doing so is considered a blasphemy;

the few who dared to speak the truth have suffered badly

but the midterm Congress elections of 2018 may change all that

two of them first Muslim members: Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar

some bold new congresspersons are demanding a change

are being attacked vociferously from all quarters because

they want to stop corruption, US wars, poverty, inequality

and blind support for Israel’s crushing of Palestinians

Ilhan Omar questioned AIPAC’s bribing/pro-Israel influence on US Congress

all hell broke loose on Ilhan Omar

It’s all about the Benjamins baby

(a reference to $100 bills)

Omar was accused of “anti-Semitism” which is

a powerful weapon to silence any criticism of Israel

fellow members of both parties went after her

she was forced to apologize

but she continues to question lobbies, including AIPAC

is a new era of change finally dawning, or

is it a bleep on the radar to be followed by more of the same?
