when only entertainment films were
the cinema houses used to people stir
audience was transported to another land
that was all technicolor and grand
there were so many heroines and heroes
some were good and others were zeroes
but then there came one formidable star
that was Peter O’Toole, the movie czar
through many a films you delighted people
and proved yourself English films’ steeple
whether you were Becket, Lawrence, or Jim
undoubtedly, your acting was full of vim
you think you’re God in the The Ruling Class
your impulsive songs and dances are kind of mass
your portrayal of God was a performance superb
you put your soul in that role without any curb
Earl of Gurney, “how do you know you’re God?”
what’s the guarantee that you’re not a fraud?
“simple. when I pray to Him, I find I am
talking to myself.” how can that be a scam?
so powerfully you said, “I’m surrounded by fools”
that your face got ignited with a hue gules
“only intelligent man in my entire kingdom” is my foe
who the master is, you brilliantly proceeded to show
how can I forget your film Goodbye, Mr. Chips?
now no one will be able to offer you any script
Mr. Peter O’Toole, it’s time to say goodbye
because you had reached the zenith of sky
