Only few years ago Narendra Modi called Muslims as “Babur ki Aulad” [16th century Mughal Emperor Baber’s progeny]. Though he decorates himself with multiple Hindu turbans, carries Shankh, Trishul, sword, and rushes for salvaging temples, he refused to accept a Muslim cap. Despite the fact, that he was the Chief Minister, he never accepted any responsibility of failure of his own police in 2002 riots and has done nothing to improve the condition of Muslims who live in slums, and are uneducated and unemployed. He calls for repair of temples as restoration of archeological treasure, yet he has remained quiet on the demolition of 300-year-old tomb of famous Urdu Poet Vali Gujarati’s by rioting mobs and Municipality in Ahmedabad
Now that he has a dream of conducting a Dehli Darbar; he suddenly invents Muslims as good guys. Even now, he just promises but does not take concrete steps. 2002 Riot victims are still waiting for justice and rehabilitation.
