Today’s newspapers report BJP president Nitin Gadkari as saying, “We must learn a lesson from the U.S. It did not forget the horrific crime [of 9/11] and took revenge after ten years.”
Gadkari should know that the horrific crimes committed in his blood
brother Narendra Modi’s Gujarat in 2002 have not been forgotten
either. Punishment, not revenge, is the aim of those who remember.
