Is it 1945 for Japan?

it’s 1945
the United States is the most powerful nation
militarily and economically
but it wanted the world to acknowledge
and to frighten the Soviet Union
so on August 6, it used a new weapon
Hiroshima was atom bombed
three days later, Nagasaki met the same fate

and thus, with a nuclear bang
the US became the Super Power

last week, no one bombed Japan
but the nuclear threat has appeared on the scene

the 9.0 magnitude earthquake hit Japan on Friday
which, in its wake, created Tsunami
then there was an explosion at reactor 1
at the Fukushima Daiichi atomic power plant
now there is a blast at reactor 3

the only country in the world
to be bombed with nuclear weapons
now facing a nuclear radiation threat
after quake and Tsunami
must be the most horrifying experience
this time, it looks like,
the Mother Nature is playing the role of Super Power

but let’s hope
it’s not another 1945 for Japan
