Seeds planted will birth Hamas or others …
from the last touch of goodbye for the dead and maybe the half-dead
from scenes of children and women breathing their untimely last
from the denials for safety and desperately needed treatment
from watching loved ones’ precipitous burial in mass graves
from the sighting of corpses and the limbless all over
from the groaning of the wounded and the broken
from the overwhelming smell of blood and smolder
from death and destruction in Gaza and West Bank
from the sighs and wails of numbed Palestinians
from the taste of starvation and agonizing thirst
from watching the ash and smoke rise in Gaza
from continuous sounds of bombs and missiles
new bodies: Hamas or others, will arise
they’ll fight back … with more endurance
the occupier will not be allowed to rest
the occupied ones don’t need a reason to battle their occupier
the occupation in itself be a reason enough to fight back
the occupier Israel understands this but …
has alternate agenda but …
the innocent blood bath and lives lost have been planted
and will bloom and result in perpetuating unbearable agonies
