CANADIANS FOR A SUTAINABLE SOCIETY
Our civilization is built on the fleeting foundation of cheap and abundant energy. Without huge amounts of fossil fuel energy, we will be unable to maintain our society, our economy or our food production. Human society will have to adapt to much more expensive and much less abundant renewable energy going forward. Pursuing our current growth-forever path will result in massive and repeated shocks to our economy and society.
