(Spain) Ojos de Brujo is not just a band, they are a collective of artists from Barcelona who turn out consistently fine videos, be they live action or animation. This is by far the most conceptual of their many creative videos. “Color” could literally be a reference to what is found in a tagger’s aerosol cans, but the words of the song are very much a description of a neighborhood– local “color” perhaps? The video is a time-lapse sequence of the creation of a work of graffiti art, depicting two children on a bicycle with a pair of huge wings that seem to be lifting them up and aloft. The clips are synchronized with the music, making for a highly rhythmic, flickering experience, and it really underscores how tight of a band Ojos de Brujo is.
