the Democratic Party leaders have a different agenda
whereas the goals of the progressives are dissimilar
the party leaders hate Trump and want to see him out
but they don’t want to destabilize the capitalist system
where as the progressives want to change the unequal system
starting with the removal of President Donald Trump
Representative AOC and Senator Schumer got together
the aim was to beseech the Democrats to wake up and fight back
or else the US Supreme Court will have one more conservative judge
which Trump, Senator Mitch McConnell, and other Republicans select
in the wake of Judge Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s death
(who, as many have noted, could have resigned during Obama’s rule
making room for a young progressive to take her place)
on several issues, both Schumer and AOC differ a great deal
just one example:
AOC is not a radical, is diplomatic, at times, and is humane
she supports the Palestinians and questions Israeli crimes
Schumer, on the other hand, supports Israel unequivocally
in 2009, Obama had mildly criticized Israeli settlement policies
Schumer was quick to attack Obama
“I called up Rahm Emanuel [Obama’s chief of staff] and I called up the White House and I said, ‘If you don’t retract that statement you are going to hear me publicly blast you on this.’”
(Israel gets free money from the US every year – $3.8 billion
Obama had approved a package of $ 38 billion for a 10 year period)
Schumer had also invoked God in his support for Israel
“You know, my name …. comes from the word shomer, guardian, watcher. My ancestors were guardians of the ghetto wall in Chortkov. And I believe Hashem [Orthodox for God] actually gave me that name. One of my roles, very important in the United States senate, is to be a shomer — to be a or the shomer Yisrael. And I will continue to be that with every bone in my body …”
Democratic leaders are using progressives because they need them
to get more youngsters and progressives out on election day to vote
after the election, the Democratic leaders won’t pay much attention
about problems faced and the inspirations of the above groups
the Democratic leaders are like the Guardian newspaper of England
the paper and some of its reporters used Assange‘s brave leaks
but then left Julian Assange to face the United States vendetta
Bernie Sanders who for the Democratic leaders is like an outsider
is trying hard to stop Trump from creating trouble on November 3
talking to New York Times, he said:
“If you are starting from zero on election night, and you’ve got hundreds of thousands or millions of absentee ballots, how long is that going to take you to count?” “It will take a very long time. And that will allow the fomenting of conspiracy theories and so-called fraud and everything else.”
because Trump’s response to a question on transfer of power was
“Well, we’re going to have to see what happens.”
“Get rid of the ballots and you’ll have a peaceful … there won’t be a transfer, frankly, there’ll be a continuation.”
continuation? so Trump, whether victory or defeat, wants to stay on
so – more votes for Joe Biden mean nothing
although 200 retired generals/admirals endorsed Biden
but one wonders if that will be enough …
if Trump refuses to leave and declares a national emergency
just with a stroke of pen, he’ll have sweeping power
with which, he could also put Obama, Pelosi, and Hillary behind bars
what is needed at this critical moment is less concentration on votes
and more attention on bringing the country to a standstill
in order to remove Trump before November 3, 2020
Trump strategy since mid 2016 has been to prepare his base
to come out on the streets in a violent manner if he loses
he always portrays himself as the greatest victim of the system
one who wanted to “drain the swamp”
“If we win on November 8th [2016], we are going to Washington, D.C.—when we win, OK—and we are going to drain the swamp.”
to drain the swamp, he hired the trashiest of the garbage
so now the swamp is un-drainable
Trump wants eight more years, probably to drain the un-drainable
chutzpah at its finest …
after four years, his base is really riled up to fight for Trump
whatever the progressives want to do should be before 11/3
after that, Trump is going to go wild and become very dictatorial
then it will be very tough to fight Trump loaded with so much power
lest we forget – he lost the popular vote and yet became president
