after many ups and downs in relations, hope was seen
when Indian and Pakistani artists were part of the same scene
but for India’s Hindu communal-nationalists it was a no no
no official ban but the thugs succeeded in their goal though
there are some artists on both sides who nationalists are
and would want their co-nationals to stay from “enemy” afar
but there are many more who would like to together work
which is good even though it may many a nationalist irk
in these tense times, in New York, Mahira and Ranbir met
someone clicked their pictures which went viral on the net
many ultra-nationalists and religious zealots trolled them
Mahira being a woman was an easy target for these scum
lot of support from both Indo/Pak artists/people she got
Ranbir came to her defense reasonably and it was on spot
let’s hope their friendship/love flourishes and they find bliss
and let the extreme nationalists and religious fanatics piss
