to get rid of Castro, the United States CIA did strive
but he survived and died a natural death on November 25
for eliminating the Cuban leader several attempts were made
to counter his revolution, embargo was imposed on trade
Castro, Che, and other comrades had ousted an autocrat bad
whom US supported and so the government was very mad
US also unsuccessfully invaded Bay of Pigs, Cuba’s southern shore
but the failure didn’t deter the US from overt/covert war
Castro’s departure didn’t make the US introspect its crimes
which to Cubans had caused miseries and given hard times
before the Revolution, Cuba was wrapped in the US corporate pall
once again, the US companies will take over the nation island though small
