Cuba to US: “Thank you, Uncle”

by B. R. GOWANI

Members of the force made up of Cuban exiles in the US, trained by the United States CIA, invaded Cuba in the dark of the night on 7th of April, 1961, at the Bay of Pigs, but were captured by the Cuban government. PHOTO/Huffington Post

the Cuban Revolution ousted dictator Batista in 1959
since then the US has tried to taint the Revolution’s shine
to kill Castro, CIA toyed with an idea of exploding cigar
and the economic embargo was imposed by the US czar

as planned, in the darkness of the night of 7 April 1961
Cuba became the nth victim of the United States’ gun
US statesman Stimson‘s “our own little region over here
had lost their puppet and so Cuba was to be turned into a bier

Posada, a US supported Cuban terrorist, is not a small parer
but is the one who has terrorized many people with his terror
he was also involved in a bombing of a Cuban plane in 1976
but the United States is neither embarrassed nor is in a fix

PIE/Washington’s Blog

never before has the world seen such a terror cyst
which recently, took Cuba off the state terrorists’ list
“thank you Uncle” were the only words poor Cuba could utter
because it’s always good to stay away from the terror-gutter
