Saibaba
by MUKUL DUBE
Dr. G.N. Saibaba, who teaches in Delhi University, was in effect abducted from his home by men of the Maharashtra police and was then taken to Gadchiroli. This is widely being seen as an example of the State’s bullying, terrorising and harassing even of ordinary citizens who do no more than sympathise with those who call themselves revolutionaries. The photo is of a demonstration near the Maharashtra Sadan in Delhi on 10 May 2014. PHOTO/Mukul Dube
