that was when the Britain ruled places
and had beaten other empires in the races
as peoples rose against its cruel rule
it tried to hold on to its empire tool
but the US, depression, and the world wars
forced UK out of colonized countries’ doors
parasite mostly finds bloodsucking ways
of victims who have escaped its maze
UK freed nations but put them back in cage
thru loans and goods, i.e., next colonial stage
new countries gained confidence and force
which made UK feel its imperialism coarse
but the lazy bum has no inclination to work
so is now employing the citizenship dirk
investor or tier-one UK visas are on sale
not recommended for the financially frail
to become residents, rich ones have to offer
the most money to fill up the British coffer
how green was my valley, alas no more
the dire times have made me a whore
but then money had always been my God
and war-free money makes me a dove
