global village, as usual, is passing through a global crisis
crisis is that of jobs
jobs aren’t enough for all the people
people there are too many in this world
world is controlled by a tiny group of wealthies
wealthies want huge return on their investment
investment otherwise wouldn’t be forthcoming
forthcoming though there are threats
threats are about moving to other countries
countries there are waiting for them with open arms
arms wealthies extend too with more demands
demands are without end
…
and so on
more than half of the earth is filled with destitutes
all 112 of you belonged to that class
you were jobless
so you were worth nothing
Bangladesh government wouldn’t do anything for you
so if the demand from Walmart, Disney, and others
could erase your joblessness
with 21 cents an hour
so be it
the fire of your life was extinguished
because of the fire in the factory you were working
the exits were locked for your benefit
where would you have found another job
so be grateful to your employer
your family/relatives will receive $1,200
that is,
pay worth over 5714 hours
or over 143 days
or over 20 weeks
