Netherlands: Free storage space for homeless people

by ERIC BEACHEMIN

50 homeless people in The Hague have been given free lockers to store their possessions. The lockers are designed to make the lives of homeless people a bit easier.

Many homeless people carry all their worldly goods with them all the time. But they often lose them or they are stolen. Homeless people also complain that they often suffer from back, knee and shoulder complaints as a result of constantly carrying heavy bags.
