Uttarakhand has a lot to offer the tourist. Height is one. In his search for God, man has always climbed hills and mountains where he believes Gods reside. That is why every mountain peak has a temple or a shrine. In fact, the higher the temple, the higher is its sanctity. Come to think of it, Tirupati, Sabarimala, Vaishnodevi and Shankaracharya temple at Srinagar are all located on mountain tops. What are the pyramids meant for, except to reach God who dwells in the high?
