Osama is dead
long live the war on terror
Washington’s wisest woman
Hillary Clinton expressed her views:
“we should not forget that the battle to stop Al Qaeda and its syndicate of terror will not end with the death of Bin Laden.”
dead or alive
the US wanted Osama
Bush Jr., criminal at large, said:
“The fight against terror goes on,
but tonight America has sent an unmistakable message:
No matter how long it takes, justice will be done”
on the 2001 attack
Barack Obama lamented:
“The empty seat at the dinner table. Children who were forced to grow up without their mother or their father. Parents who would never know the feeling of their child’s embrace. Nearly 3,000 citizens taken from us, leaving a gaping hole in our hearts.”
“The world is a safer place,” Obama declared
that means the dinner tables or dinner floors
won’t have children or parents missing in
Afghanistan, Pakistan, Libya, …
a black kills a brown
and many whites who hated that black
suddenly embraced him
(it’s a temporary phenomenon)
“This is going to be a time of real pressure”
on Pakistan “to basically prove to us
that they didn’t know that bin Laden was there,”
rabid hawk Joseph Lieberman warned
forget all this nonsense
if the US is serious about peace
it should built a memorial at Ground Zero
dedicated to the memory of Osama bin Laden
with Zbigniew Brzezinski as the chief guest
the guy who wanted to
give the Soviet Union its Vietnam
and dismissed the creation of Afghan Mujahids
as not a big deal compare to Russia’s humiliation
the memorial should be a reminder
that once in a while
even the most violent country
may encounter some tiny opponent
who can cause some humiliating trouble
