In the legendary Indian epic Mahabharata, Draupadi is married to five Pandava brothers. Another name for Draupadi is Krishnaa. In the recent exceptional movie, Ishqiya, Vidya Balan plays the role of a Hindu widow Krishnaa who has two unexpected Muslim guests: Nasiruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi (uncle-nephew team of thieves). This modern Draupadi ends up “befriending” both of them. The film displays great acting by all four actors, the fourth one is Salman Shahid, the villain. Ed.
