The one eyed monster/“humanitarian” trinity

equal rights
indicate equal opportunities

opportunity and means are a deadly duo
especially when rights of others are disregarded

while owning the power and opportunity to wage war

US is such a country
mostly at war
all the wars have been declared by men
except the latest one against Libya
the responsibility for which goes to
Hillary Clinton, Samantha Power, and Susan Rice
Secretary of State,
Office of Multilateral Affairs and Human Rights Director
and the US Ambassador to the United Nations, respectively

in March 2008, working for the Obama election campaign
Power called Clinton a “monster
followed by regret,
she shouldn’t have apologized
instead she should have said:
I’m one too

monstrosity and power often are close cousins
all these three women have enjoyed power
and have been in favor of using this power,
of course, for “humanitarian” reasons

Clinton as the First Lady in Arkansas
and then as the First Lady in the White House

Rice was a good student
of then Secretary of State Madeline Albright
who was yet another single vision “monster”, i.e., “humanitarian”
as in 1996, her monstrosity on 60 Minutes illustrated:

Lesley Stahl on U.S. sanctions against Iraq: We have heard that a half million children have died. I mean, that’s more children than died in Hiroshima. And, you know, is the price worth it?

Secretary of State Madeleine Albright: I think this is a very hard choice, but the price–we think the price is worth it.

Power* has been an advocate of using US power
to stop killings or genocidal killings

this one eyed monster or ”humanitarian”
is one whose open eye is perpetually directed towards
the real or perceived monstrosities of the “enemy” or “enemies”
while the closed eye refuses to open and is
unwilling to see its own or its sons of bitches’ ** monstrosities

**It’s the fourth quote.
