the assassin targeted one politician
but this would-be politician got assassinated
at such a young age, not the time to say good bye
but wrong timing snatched 90% of your life
you are sorely missed little miss:
the dance floor misses you
as does the swimming pool
Canyon del Oro Little Leaguers miss
your courageous competitive spirit
the gym floor feels your absence
as the rain puddles search your playfulness
the school students are lacking
your supportive and wise counsel
people in need in these dire times
will go without your charity and care
born in the 9th month of 11th day
died at the age of 9 in the year 11
9/11 was bad for so many people
this 9/11 proved so tragic for you
200 million firearms exist in the United States
would they have sold you one for self defense?
and now: politicians shed tears; the media has a story
but very little is heard about the hideous NRA
National Rifle Association is the name of this group
who allow guns sold to these criminals
and thus to promote the death merchants
