United colours of India-Pakistan at United Nations

by ANIRUDH BHATTACHARYYA

It’s an unexpected sight, but seems to have become common suddenly — the Indian and Pakistani ambassadors to the United Nations racked up their fourth joint appearance at a public event on Wednesday, within the span of a week. India’s Permanent Representative to the UN Hardeep Puri and his Pakistani counterpart Abdullah Haroon stepped out of the same limo and stepped into the Aicon Gallery, run by brothers Projjal and Prajit Dutta, both originally from Delhi.

The occasion was a solo show by Karachi-based Adeela Suleman.
