since its inception
this unfortunate country
has seen overt or covert army rule
almost over its entire existence
when obedient politicans are sighted
the army pulls them up in the saddle
albeit ...
the politicians face backwards
not holding the rein but only the tail
metaphorically, of course
i.e,, major portfolios stay with the army
such as foreign policy, defense, etc.
if the obediency turns into independency
they are thrown off the ruling horse
not allowed to tug the tail
often ending up in jail
or worse ...
