Rudy Giuliani’s open racism

The former mayor of New York Rudy Giuliani (1994-2001) who became, or rather projected himself, as a hero during the terrorist attacks in New York City on September 11, 2001 has still his eyes glued in a white/US/Christian tunnel. Through that tunnel he sees the white/US/Christian world where everything is perfect, that is, the whites are absolutely nice people; Christianity had never indulged in barbaric jehads (or Crusades) or never conducted Inquisition; and the US has done everything good for the world. So for this kind of a guy, when the US President Barack Obama makes any minute reference to Christian crimes, or white hatred, or US wars and genocides, it is natural that the racism he tries to hide is bound to flush out.

On 18 February 2015, during a dinner at the 21 Club for the 2016 Republican presidential contender and the current Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, Giuliani questioned Barack Obama’s patriotism.

“I do not believe, and I know this is a horrible thing to say, but I do not believe that the president loves America.”

Is Giuliani going to proclaim that Obama loves US if he changes his skin color? But then, in a New York Times interview, Giuliani denies that he is a racist.

“Some people thought it was racist — I thought that was a joke, since he was brought up by a white mother, a white grandfather, went to white schools, and most of this he learned from white people.” “This isn’t racism. This is socialism or possibly anti-colonialism.”

This half idiot forgets that Obama’s color and hair puts him in a racial category called black.

At the dinner speech, he also said,

“He doesn’t love you. And he doesn’t love me. He wasn’t brought up the way you were brought up and I was brought up through love of this country.”

Yes, Obama doesn’t love Giuliani. And one can’t blame Obama for not loving this asshole. As far as Obama’s love for the people of his country is concerned, it is not much different from the love past US presidents had displayed: the rich got richer and the poor got poorer.

Yes, Obama wasn’t brought up the way Giuliani was raised – with white mother and white father. Obama’s mother was white and his father was a black from Kenya. Even his step dad wasn’t white – he was brown from Indonesia. Sorry Rudy. His mother Ann Dunham, a liberal/atheist, was an anthropologist who developed a microfinancing model in Indonesia which is still used over there.

Giuliani couldn’t miss to include “love this country” nonsense. The love as understood and practiced by most members of the ruling class can be summed up in one sentence: Wars, covert and over, to be conducted throughout the world to get natural resources of other countries; to get cheap labor; and to fill up the their own pockets. Giuliani made tens of millions of dollars too.

As far as wars are concerned, Obama has pursued them, willingly or unwillingly (the case in point is Libya) except against Iran – which he has wisely resisted. Obama is a man of the establishment but it is his color which bothers racists like Giuliani. So he expressed his wish:

“with all our flaws we’re the most exceptional country in the world. I’m looking for a presidential candidate who can express that, do that and carry it out.”

His kind of president resembles former president George W. H. Walker (1989 – 1993) who as Vice President in 1988 declared:

“I will never apologize for the United States — I don’t care what the facts are … I’m not an apologize-for-America kind of guy.”

The US Navy warship had shot down an Iran Air Flight 655 in the Iranian space killing 290 people, including 66 children. It was about the killing of innocent people that Bush refused to apologized.
