an equally respectable bigot (like father)
famous for his anti-Islam/Muslim rants
has now joined the birther movement
and endorsed Donald Trump for President:
“… the more you listen to him,
the more you say to yourself,
you know, maybe this guy’s right.”
the racist has the support of the bigot
his words:
“I look at the world in which we live today,
and the secularism is anti-Christ.”
on the second coming of Jesus:
“Well, the Bible says that every eye is going to see it.
And — well, how is that going to happen?
There’s so many phones today.”
taxpayer money
doled out by the government
to research and educational institutes
and the Pentagon;
when new technologies are developed
capitalists mint millions
that same technology proves useful for bigots
who interpret it in religious terms
this is a repeating cycle
his father complains to him:
“the world in which I was born,
I don’t recognize anymore.”
the people then were civil to each other
although, the white racists
were lynching blacks in the South
and other such civility …
