Trump’s opponents embrace all his critics

Trump is a scumbag no doubt, but the US has many scumbags

Trump’s former national security advisor Bolton is also a scumbag

this ratty scumbag’s views on the United Nations:

“There is no such thing as the United Nations.” “If the U.N. Secretariat Building in New York lost 10 stories, it wouldn’t make a bit of difference.”

This warmonger wants no laws that restrict US violence and wars

“It is a big mistake for us to grant any validity to international law even when it may seem in our short-term interest to do so—because, over the long term, the goal of those who think that international law really means anything are those who want to constrain the United States.”

he worked 453 days for Trump and was “fired” or “resigned”

now he’s out with a book called The Room Where It Happened

“I am hard-pressed to identify any significant Trump decision during my tenure that wasn’t driven by reelection calculations.”

US politicians are always campaigning – Trump more so

it’s not as if Bolton came to know Trump’s idiocies at his job

anyone keeping track of political/celebrity news knew who Trump was

Bolton has also worked for Reagan, Bush Sr. and Bush Jr.

“The differences between this presidency and previous ones I had served were stunning.”

first of all, none of the above three presidents were any better than Trump

one wonders: what is so “stunning” about the Trump presidency

Reagan’s 2nd term was run by his wife Nancy because he had Alzheimer’s

it was during his term that the Iran-Contra affair took place

Reagan also ordered invasion of tiny Grenada in 1983

Bush Sr. warred against Iraq, killing hundreds of thousands of Iraqis

he also invaded Panama killing thousands of people

Bush Jr. destroyed Iraq and Afghanistan killing 100s of 1,000s of people

Trump is not any better – he tries to avoid war as much as possible

but what he does instead is use economic embargoes and blockades

which also kills people as they can’t have access to goods and medicines

Bolton, whose ego is no less than Trump’s, writes what a brave soul he is

“If you don’t like turmoil, uncertainty, and risk—all the while being constantly overwhelmed with information, decisions to be made, and sheer amount of work—and enlivened by international and domestic personality and ego conflicts beyond description, try something else.”

Trump tweeted about Bolton’s book

“Wacko John Bolton’s “exceedingly tedious”(New York Times) book is made up of lies & fake stories. Said all good about me, in print, until the day I fired him. A disgruntled boring fool who only wanted to go to war. Never had a clue, was ostracized & happily dumped. What a dope!”

Usually, Trump’s criticism of others is lies

but this time one has to agree somewhat with Trump

Bolton is hawkish and was itching for wars against Iran and North Korea

one has to praise Trump’s decision to visit N. Korea and keep peace

Bolton is perhaps correct about Trump’s pleading with Xi

“He [Trump] then, stunningly, turned the conversation to the coming US presidential election, alluding to China’s economic capability to affect the ongoing campaigns, pleading with Xi to ensure he’d win.” Bolton writes.

“He stressed the importance of farmers, and increased Chinese purchases of soybeans and wheat in the electoral outcome. I would print Trump’s exact words but the government’s prepublication review process has decided otherwise.”

the book says Trump is supportive of leaders who are dictators

one wonders which US leaders have not supported authoritarians

the book also claims Pompeo made fun of Trump in North Korea

of course, behind the back in a note to Bolton

Pompeo said:

“He is so full of shit.”

as if Pompeo is any different from Trump

Bolton is the worse scumbag more than Trump

during Trump’s impeachment proceedings Bolton refused to testify

testifying would have netted him zero dollars

but this book fetched him at least $2 million
