but then, war has always been good for weapon-makers
they, and warmonger politicians, fight for wars to continue
but sometimes the warmongers themselves opt to stop the war
that situation has arisen with the United States — of all the countries
one may wonder what could be the reason for ceasing the fire?
the US has never given a damn to any opposition — within or without
on February 28, 2026, Netanyahu led Trump into the Iran war
both countries bombed Iran mercilessly killing many, & their leaders
on April 7, the war stopped & negotiations mediated by Pakistan began
but with Trump, most deals are broken & so the war resumed again
it was an on and off kind of war with skirmishes and then some lull
then July saw continuous US bombing of Iran for thirteen days
then suddenly Trump stopped the bombing …
Iran stopped retaliatory attacks on US bases
but why did Trump halt the destructive spree?
one shouldn’t raise such questions when the result is peace
let peace prevail — even if temporary
however, such a question matters when Our Dear Leader is involved
well …
the United States is left with a low stock of air defence interceptors
good outcome — regardless of the reason for the ceasefire …
